The Maryland HQL (Handgun Qualificaiton License) Course consist of 4.5 hours of safe firearms training, Maryland Firearm Laws, and basic fundamentals of a handgun instructed by our Maryland Certified Firearm Instructors. This license is required for only Maryland residents to purchase a handgun.
